This week of special activities marked the end of our first year! Today the dismissal bell rang one last time for the 2007 - 2008 schol year.

Today nine of our students participated in the II Mega Inter Schools Spelling Bee organized by the U.E. El Angel and made us proud. Well done!
Four of these students deserve special recognition as they won in their category:

Second Grade: Andrea Mata
Sixth Grade: Luis Fernando Millán de Nobrega, and
Seventh Grade: Leslie Arana

Nine of our students will be representing CPRM at the Spelling Bee organized by the El Angel school on the 29th of this month.

In preparation for this event two students were selected to represent each grade and a "preliminary round" was held on Friday, May 23rd. Congratulations to all who participated:

ENTREGA DE BOLETAS DE II LAPSO - 2nd TERM REPORT CARD HANDOUT

La presente es para notificarle que la Entrega de Boletas correspondiente a nuestro Segundo Lapso se llevará a cabo el próximo día Viernes 25 de Abril, 2008 en horario corrido, comprendido entre las 8:00 am y 2:00 pm. Los Teachers estarán atendiendo únicamente hasta las 2pm ya que después de esta hora participarán en un taller informativo.

El viernes 18 de abril realizamos un sencillo agasajo a los integrantes de nuestro Equipo de Fútbol, quienes dejaron en alto en nombre del "Pablo Romero Millán" al coronarse campeones municipales en los juegos inter-colegiales.

¡Estamos felices de estar juntos de nuevo y esperamos que hayan tenido una feliz Semana Santa!

January was Book Month at the CPRM and we celebrated it with two main events: the First Annual Story Writing Contest and a Book Drive to help set up our classroom libraries. Both activities were a success. Several publishing houses and book distributors were invited to participate and supported us by donating books and other resources.

We'll be publishing the winning authors as well as the class that collected the most books shortly.
